Video Copilot发布一个新的AE插件，称为Orb。它最初只是一个简单的CC Sphere插件（CC球体）的替代品，但现在已经成为一个完整的3D行星产生器，包括基于物理的着色器，大气功能，定制的地形凹凸贴图，环境反射，自动阴影照明，GPU加速等等。

并附带从头开始使用与Element 3D相似的方法来制作3D行星教程。当然不用说，Orb插件的功能肯定比这里演示的还要多。

Video Copilot has announced a new plugin for After Effects called Orb.It started life as a simple replacement for CC Sphere but has become a complete generator for generating 3D planets including physically based shaders, the ability to design the atmosphere, custom terrain bump maps, environment reflections, automatic shadow illumination GPU acceleration and more.
